Course Overview

Join our immersive 2-day course designed to provide a hands-on experience, allowing you to establish a solid foundation in drawing. This course focuses on the essential design toolset within SketchUp Pro, offering practical insights, tips, and shortcuts for fundamental functions.

Throughout the program, we will dive into topics such as navigating the interface, manipulating objects, organizing drawing elements, working with materials and textures, mastering simple visualization styles, and creating animations.

By the end of the course, you'll have gained valuable skills to excel in 3D modeling and contribute effectively to your professional endeavors.

ACAD Pte Ltd is an Authorized Training Centre of SketchUp and offers WSQ-accredited certification programs. This course is eligible for SSG funding of up to 70% for eligible COMPANIES and INDIVIDUALS.

WSQ Technical Drawing with SketchUp is a SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) accredited program.

1) Upon successful completion, learners will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) in Skills Framework aligned Industry & Generic Skills SOAs.

2) Trainees who complete this course with 75% attendance will also be awarded an Authorized Certificate by Trimble.

The learning units are sequenced from a ‘Simple to Complex’ approach starting from SketchUp basic functions such as reading and visualizing SketchUp technical drawings (LU1). Next, the curriculum will cover SketchUp intermediate functions such as creating part lists for new designs and the production of technical drawings and specifications. Lastly, the curriculum will cover SketchUp's advance functions such as 2D and 3D technical drawings and the development of design prototypes.
